Mini-monster clay avatars. The artists will each create their own alter-ego monster and bring them to life!

‘Me. Myself & My Monster’ continues with our themes on identity and creativity. 
It is aimed at primary school aged children and is a 10 week programme of workshops conculding with an exhibition.
The participants will use plasticine, wire maquettes, textiles and polymer clay to create their own mini-monster.
They will then make a short stop-motion film featuring the monsters. The participants will collaborate in small groups to complete the animations.

As well as exploring ideas about identity and finding power in difference, this project also explores very tangible real-world materials and slow old-school processes, offering a respite from a world which is increasingly unreal.
