Welcome to Jonathan Reynolds Visual Artist CIC. We are a Northamptonshire-based community arts organisation, centering disabled creativity. Our lead artist Jonathan works with school age children and young adults both with and without additional needs. His own work draws from sci-fi and popular culture, he sculpts and moulds masks, costumes and objects that share his experience as a neuro-divergent and disabled artist.
EMBRACING DIFFERENCE, CREATIVITY AND POTENTIAL
“The idea for this project, was for those with additional needs, at all levels to share their expression and how they want to be seen every day. That they are not just one big group, but individuals with their own ideas. Working with the four schools so far, I have really enjoyed seeing them come out of their shells and be creative. Beauty, anxiety, anger, it is all there in this work.” JR
We are currently working with Lumina Arts in Northampton on THE FORGE a creative and mental health focused workshop for 16-25 year olds.
